Even if hackers do not get your credit card or bank information, you are still vulnerable if they get personal information such as your name, home address, password, email address, etc. Because many people re-use passwords, a data breach on one website can mean you will suffer losses on other websites. I personally use an app called MySudo to help protect me against the risk of my personal data being collected in a corporate data breach.
