Angela was an atheist who did not believe that the life which was conceived inside of her was anything special; rather, it having been formed by betrayal, she believed that she was perfectly just in aborting it.
She couldn't understand then the agony that she felt in her heart from the loss; and it was there, broken and lost, that The Lord found her and restored her to what he had created her to be.
