Why We Need to Spend This Summer Securing Our Schools

Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, wades into the national debate about how to stop school shooting and better protect our nation's most valuable resource. Every time we have these terrible incidents occurring, both sides of the political spectrum have a tendency to shout from the mountain tops what they believe is the solution to the problem. It's either "take all the guns" or "we need more guns...and more mental health treatment." For the sake of today's discussion, we will assume (hypothetically) that each of these solutions could work. Problem is how long does it take to effectively achieve those tasks? So reality dictates that even IF these plans could work, it would take many, many, many years for them to be executed. And in the meantime, how many more school shootings we will have to endure? So today, we discuss a much more simple solution and one that can be implemented right now. Arm yourself with education today.
