In this video, I explain the history of the petrodollar and how it still applies today. The petrodollar is a key factor in understanding the financial markets, yet it's often overlooked. I discuss how every market correction has been caused by oil, and how this current market correction is no different. We're in a fragile time right now, as there's no guarantee that everyone will continue to adhere to the petrodollar system. However, crypto could play a role in the acceptance of payments in the future. Nevertheless, the reserve currency is still the dollar system.
