How Quitting Alcohol Improved My Relationship with God

For years, I knew drinking was causing a hindrance in my relationship with God. His voice always felt distant, barred by the flowing liquid between us. I knew this was something He was calling me to give up but it felt impossible.

After many years of suffering, and several failures trying, I finally gave up drinking for good. I am a sober Christian woman and have a message for others who might struggle with the same thing.
