FIXING my Matias wired backlit keyboard

I have used Apple keyboards since day one but some years ago I found a company that makes near identical keyboards, but backlit! I had to have one and have been using it exclusively since 2018. Alas things can break and that's what happened to mine. This is where tonight's story begins....
