Two things are very telling about Mark's statement. (1) Mark wants to see ₿itcoin devalued further simply for the reason that it would afford him the opportunity to buy more, fuck the families invested in it. Says a lot about his selfishness and lack of morality. And (2) Being a Billionaire, he sees more long-term value over what's in store for ₿itcoin, rather than long term appreciation in Gold. The price of ₿itcoin dropping lower than it is now means nothing to him. He knows damn well it's slated to hit $250k - $1M by 2030, due to 'the halving', rapid worldwide adoption, and built-in scarcity.

During this recession, ₿itcoin has been adopted and bought more than Stocks, Gold & Silver combined. Despite constant attacks by the Central Bank owned press and their witch hunt aimed at ₿itcoin in the aftermath of the FTX scandal, people in-the-know understand ₿itcoin is solid for the long-term and the constant negative publicity isn't dissuading them from buying it. ₿itcoin now has over 1 Billion users worldwide. Before the recession it stood at approx. 250M users. If anything, the price drop of ₿itcoin only made it more attractive and obtainable. And with 'the halving' coming in 2024, the pattern tends to be: the price of ₿itcoin doubles, nearly overnight. Gold doesn't have this ability. It's more stable, but that functions both upwards as well as downwards. It holds its value, but doesn't appreciate rapidly like ₿itcoin, nor is it being quickly adopted by countries as a reserve currency, or as a way to get out from under the boot of the IMF, Central Banks and runaway inflation created by carelessly printing fiat.

₿itcoin is many things for many people. For Billionaires like Mark Cuban it's only purpose is making him more money. But the reason why it was created was to give the people economic freedom while extending a middle finger towards the Central Bankers. The value of Bitcoin and it's uninflatable limit of 21M coins, is designed to draw attention to why fiat and printing money robs people of their wealth, and ₿itcoin has done that beautifully. 🙏
