In an interview with the London Times, Whoopi Goldberg once again blasts the Holocaust as not being about race. Goldberg was asked about her comments regarding Adolf Hitler and the Holocaust made on The View in March of this year.

Goldberg stated that "I would not have said it if I thought it was about race" and that she was instead referring to the "hatred" and "greed" that fueled the Holocaust.

Despite Goldberg's statements, many people on social media continue to refer to the Holocaust as a genocide perpetrated solely against the Jewish people.

This interview is a good example of the ongoing debate around the Holocaust and its definition. It will be interesting to see how the media react to Whoopi doubling down on her previous in accurate and insensitive statement.
