This year as I have read over the Christmas event, the things that speak to me are found in ver.15 “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing…”
Thing = rhema, God breathed.

In Galatians 4:4 “But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,…”

The first prophetic reference in the Bible concerning a coming Savior.
This happened directly after man opened himself to the curse of sin.
Gen.3:15 “And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel."

My take away from this is that God is breathing over your life, orchestrating events to fulfill His perfect plan in your life.

NOTHING that happens in our is a useless event, but God works all things for my good, and fulfills His plan to have Christ born in me.

When I become alive to Jesus living in me, God’s light now fills my life.
Jesus said: Mt 5:14 "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Candle Lighting I would like one person from the end of each row to come forward and light your candle then take it back to your row and pass the flame along.

Isaiah 9:2 “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined.
Jesus said.. I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8:12 12)

As we blow out our candles, carry the light of Christ in our hearts into every part of our lives.
