NPR's Guide On Normalizing Antifa

NPR’s devious journalistic maneuvers are on full display in this incredible story aimed at softening Antifa’s rough public image. The NPR reporter begins by connecting Antifa members to regular people in your neighborhood: students, health workers, families, and clergy. This is called “normalization.” Next up we have concept-sullying, wherein the reporter smears people critical of Antifa with dirty connections to bad things and bad people, like Fox News and William Barr. Antifa is then ennobled by identifying its enemies: white nationalists, Richard Spencer, and (of course) Nazis.

If you hope to become a successful propagandist, study this story and follow its patterns. If you want to learn about Antifa’s authoritarian impulse to oppress speech and thought by any means necessary, you’ll have to find a better news source. NPR never mentions it.
