Help! Off-Grid Drinking Spring Water System. Well Development

We found spring water on our property last year. We are thinking about developing an off-grid spring water well system. I am unsure how to develop an off-grid system, so please let us know your thoughts. I have zero experience with spring well development. The following day, the pit was completely full and running over.
