JFK famously said 'We can't solve all the problems, but is it such a bad thing if we don't try?' ...or something along those lines. In todays politics, I think we're trying to solve EVERYTHING while ignoring the fact that we CAN'T, but we should try to solve some.

Jimmy is an ex NFL Wide Receiver, later ran for office as a Democrat in Idaho, and also has a book called ‘Be A Pro.’ Jimmy is a great person, a common sense classic liberal, and can debate anybody for hours, which he proved in today’s podcast!

In 2001, I signed my first NFL contract with the San Francisco 49ers and achieved a goal I set for myself when I was 10 years old. I spent the next 7 years in the NFL, won a Super Bowl with the Patriots, and lived my dream. And then at the age of 30... it was over.

For the next several years, I struggled to find myself again. Can you relate?
I was unsure .... Who was I without football? What was I passionate about? What could I offer the world? How could I make an impact?

I realized that all of those years spent pursuing... realizing... and living the dream of playing Pro Football taught me some incredibly valuable lessons.
Lessons about what it takes to be a high performer, how to consistently be your best, how to come back from failure, and how to become the absolute best version of yourself. I want to share that information with the world and that is why I created Be A Pro.
