Apple is rumored to be working on their own Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) headset. Many insiders suggest that such a device would be incredibly powerful and could completely revolutionize the way we interact with digital content and our environment. The company has already released several patents detailing possible applications of the technology, as well as prototypes that seem to confirm it's in active development. It's expected that such a headset would employ some of Apple's latest technologies, such as Face ID, gesture control, and advanced wireless connectivity. It could also feature an immersive display with an incredibly wide field of view, and possibly even multiple cameras for capturing 3D images or videos. Such a device could provide users with unprecedented access to interactive gaming experiences and virtual worlds, as well as augmented productivity tools like augmented reality drawing apps or remote collaboration tools. If these rumors turn out to be true, then Apple is certainly preparing to take the world by storm once again with their innovative hardware.
