George Floyd & Buffalo Mass Shooting: NPR Connects the Dots

NPR journalists are masterful at creating connections between unrelated events in order to promote their desired narrative. In the story, “It’s Been 2 Years Since George Floyd Was Murdered by Police in Minneapolis,” the journalist conjoins the death of George Floyd with the 2022 mass shooting at a grocery store in Buffalo, New York. What connects the two? According to this reporter, they both represent “black deaths at the hands of white assailants.”

This is one of many irresponsible stories produced by NPR that sidesteps data about interracial violence and police brutality in order to stoke fear and deepen racial division.
