Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is “delighted” with Jack Grealish’s progress after his two assists in Wednesday’s 3-1 win over Leeds.

Guardiola said he will not judge the England midfielder purely on goals and assists and has been impressed with Grealish’s overall performance levels since signing from Aston Villa.

Speaking ahead of Saturday’s hosting of Everton, Guardiola did not rule out staying beyond his current contract which runs until 2025.

Second-placed City trail Premier League leaders Arsenal by five points and are just two points ahead of Newcastle, who he believes are genuine title contenders.
