Total Annihilation Arm Campaign: A slow, brutal grind to Thalassean

I don't remember the TA campaign being this rough-the initial minutes being a short skirmish followed by vicious holding actions as I scramble to get defenses set up-which bled into a slow, brutal advance to wipe the CORE from Empyrrean.

After multiple failed attacks, a forward base was established using captured enemy infrastructure to bolster my own-and then it was just a matter of setting static defenses to ensure that enemy counterattacks were wiped out. After sweeping the mainland-a final assault using Triton Amphibious Tanks was conducted, and after the first wave was repelled, the second wave, with support from a pair of submarines finally broke through, and the Commander was able to capture it.

It's only going to get worse from here...
