🇬🇧 A TV commercial calls on Britons to do simple things like turn down the heat, turn off the lights and draw the curtains at night, during the festive period when most homes and all towns and cities have extra gas usage.

“That's enough time to [...] save on energy bills,” reads the commercial. 30 seconds a day. I don't know if they are enough to drastically reduce consumption, they are certainly enough to instill fear of a man made energy crisis.
