Sanctified Ignorance

There is a subgroup of Christianity who think the best life strategy is to “trust in the Lord” and then make no effort to plan their lives in any ways. They say that “if you just have enough faith, everything will work out”.

No one in religious history has ever operated that way. Read Hebrews 11 an you will find the so-called Hall of faith. Behind every individual you will find that reality that “by faith” someone took action in thei life.

There was no waiting around for God to do all the heavy lifting. Sure, they had faith and trust in God, but that did no excuse them from taking action.
