Basics 33 The Lord's Supper

Hi SBC Family,

Happy New Years Eve! Tomorrow will be our first meeting of the new year (2023!). Sometimes at the onset of a new year we make new years resolutions. We do this to motivate ourselves as we look forward to the future. To accomplish this I think it is critical to first look backward to what Christ did for us on the cross. That is the focus of every Lord's Supper. We are supposed to remember. Looking backward is critical to going forward because it reminds us of what Christ has done for us, who we are in Him, what His purpose is for our lives, and where we are going in the future. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow as we look back!
