The Kananaskis River Canoeing in Alberta Canada

We take a trip down the Kananaskis River in southern Alberta. This river features several sets of rapids. Our starting point was the widow maker and we canoed down to canoe meadows. This run only took about an hour to do, with many stops along the way to scout rapids. Kananaskis river is usually run in kayaks, so an open canoe is not for the faint of heart. This southern Alberta river is sure to rock your neoprene socks off!
