Undans or pelicans are water birds that have a pouch under their beak, and are part of the Pelecanidae bird family. Together with the cormorant, cormorant, gannet, rock swan and frigatebird, they form the order Pelecaniformes. Modern pelicans are found on all continents except Antarctica.
