Bergkristall was by US intelligence labelled as "The most technically advanced underground factory of the war" Yet today we still know very little of this huge project. And its predecessor Kellerbau, the first SS special project, both had an enormous labor pool drawn from Gusen and Mauthausen.
It is time to begin clarifying what was there and research the claims and counterclaims of what is hiding in the underground around this small town.

Historian and founder of the Gusen Memorial Rudi Haunschmied will talk us through the events of the war and those recent revelations and controversial cover-ups of much of the known tunnel system.
