Our beliefs that produce our thoughts (verbal-visual), feelings and behaviors are determined by the specific questions that we ask ourselves – is there a Creator – God? Does He exist and if so, can I interact with Him? If yes, how do I find Him? If no, then how does the world actually work?
As born-again believers we have answered many of these questions and have moved on to more specific questions about life after salvation – should I believe the bible or my feelings? What is God’s plan to make my life after salvation into something meaningful and worthwhile?

This discussion will focus on Joseph. We will begin by examining the chaos of his family background. The favoritism of Isaac and Rebekah along with Jacob’s polygamy created the chaotic, sinful environment that God allowed to be Joseph’s family life. This stew of idolatrous attachments, false thinking & sinful passions will give us examples of our Old Man beliefs and show how God’s grace gives us victory in this life and the next, in spite of ourselves.
