My first season as a fishing guide - 2022 Recap

I made this video to say thank you to everyone who has booked a fishing trip with me in 2022. This was my first year as a fishing guide. I started smack dab in the middle of 2022, towards the end of the busy part of the guiding season. The fact that so many people reached out to me when I announced I was going full time with my guide service really meant a lot to me. All the people I've met this past year and memories made were so memorable. 2022 was the both the hardest and best year of my life. Super scary leaving my full time job to be a fishing guide with no clients. There's still a huge uphill battle to fight. There is a lot of competition from generic booking sites like fishingbooker and bassonline. I don't know how I feel about joining those types of websites to get trips. Time will tell if thats the route for me. But for now I'm going to keep on grinding and build the business the best I possibly can. Peacock bass beware!
