WITH her iconic mohawk and alternative punk style, Yaz, 33, from Costa Rica attracts attention when she is out and about. Yaz feels strong and truly herself when she is dressed in this look which she describes as ‘80s, new wave punk with a mix of neon’. Today, she is switching up her style and trying out a ‘mainstream look’, including having her makeup done by her friend and makeup artist, Diego. Yaz said: “I feel… Nervous to be transformed into a mainstream look. It’s not something I would normally wear but I would love to see it, just for fun.” How will Yaz look after swapping the mohawk for long locks and the studs for florals? She will be revealing the look to her mum, neighbour, sister and friend… What will they think of the transformation?
