Replacing a kitchen faucet isn't difficult until it is. The shutoff valves were leaking and needed to be replaced, but the water main is frozen open and I can't turn it off. Having to change a shutoff valve with the water on was a chilly experience! But things don't always go right and you've got to adapt, improvise and overcome.
