Modern Fantasy is a FAILURE (according to CS Lewis)

in 1955 CS Lewis wrote his review of The Two Towers and Return of the King. In it, he (perhaps without realizing) makes the argument as to why Tolkien's fantasy/myth is more "real" than the less than mediocre fantasy we've seen recently.
