I caught up with ELS 501 and ELS 402 as they were rolling south from Michigan heading to Pembine, WI where they dumped off the empty pulpwood cars and took the full ones back north along with gondolas for Alter Metal. Watch this cool conductor of the Escanaba & Lake Superior swap these cars around like its nothing, smooth sailing or railing all the way! He makes it look easy! I told him that... And he THANKED me!
PLUS it was just weird having that vehicle sit there as it was.. With the glare on the window, it was hard to see inside to figure out what they were doing. Just odd is all..
