Weird seeing 3 crewmen on this northbound train with ELS 402 (GP38) leading and ELS 501 (SD40-2) taking the day off.. That old Conrail unit was doing all the work heading back to Channing on a 90+ degree day. The lead engine had the door open until they seen me, though I don't know what good it does them to close it and how about the BUCK standing on the tracks, eh?
