These soft plates are so slim and so light, we wanted to see if they would actually stop a few bullets. Body armory is a tough thing to commit to buying sometimes, because it would be really expensive to test a bunch of different options(which is why buying NIJ rated plates might be a good move), but with these non-rated plates, we just wanted to hopefully give people little more confidence before they buy.
