Just in time to catch Escanaba & Lake Superior Railroad ELS 501 (built for Milwaukee Road, but with the EMDX color scheme) and ELS 503 (built for the Grand Trunk Western RR) rolling north from Alter Metal where they just swapped out the gondola cars. This long freight train was heading to Channing in upper Michigan after leaving Crivitz, WI a few hours earlier. Check out the rocking action along this stretch of rails!
