Prof. Al Bartlett discusses the taboo on the issue of overpopulation. He discusses how the organization Zero Population Growth (now Population Connection) virtually abandoned the issue of US population stabilization at about the time that the Sierra Club abandoned the immigration - population connection (see www.SUSPS.org.) Mass immigration is the root cause of unending population growth in the United States, yet the taboo prevents discussion of the issue.
