348 Faith Is Present Tense

Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV): Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith lays hold of the unseen realm of hope and brings it into the realm of reality. Many people don’t receive God's promises because they believe as far as they know but they don’t really know what the Word says. They may love God with all their heart but you don’t receive from God because you love Him. Faith is the key to receiving from God.
