Doctor Ricky Brown shows us the proper way to stop an injury from bleeding out, explaining that l a belt will not stop it as it’s tightness isn’t sufficient for stopping circulation.

Instead doctors use what’s called a combat application tourniquet which is placed well above the wound and bound tightly with Velcro which then gets further tightened by twisting and securing it when the bleeding stops.
