Prepping - Why you shouldn't share that you prep

One of the first questions anyone new to prepping will find themselves asking is who should I tell ?

Well prepping is a bit like fight club the first rule of prepping is do not tell anyone you are prepping.

There are exceptions for partners and trusted family but in the most part while people may know that you are someone who always buys a little extra you do not want them to know what you have.

The longstanding joke for preppers is "I will just come to your house" the people who say this would not come alone.
