Soul Winter

The Soul Winter is a tough season of life to endure through. We feel the harsh, cold, darkness of this life season in our soul emotions that can lead us to discouragement and then to despair. Seasons of our soul where it is cold and dark seem to make us focus on the negative, yet there is so much positive in Soul Winter when we are led by truth and not by our emotions.

Soul Winter, has its own beauty, it proves the faithfulness and trustworthy of God, the ONE Who never leaves us, nor forsakes us. I believe we see God more clearly when we are in the dark soul winter. There is no winter darkness that can extinguish the light of God, nothing can. We can sit quietly in the darkness of our soul, and we will see the glimmer, of glitters of His light, as we hope in Him, knowing by faith, He will spring forth goodness out of our Winter Seasons. The SON will shine on us once again, and the warmth of God’s love will glow His glory into our darkness. Look up! He is STILL with us. There is never a Season of life where we are without our God.

We experience so many different life seasons. Some life seasons are hard, lightless and cold, and our soul struggles to the point of weariness. Every season evokes different emotions and some season’s of life we have to struggle to grow through dark emotions to the right life choices. Trust God in the Soul Winter seasons of your life, be deeply rooted, anchored to Him. This anchor will hold. Step out on God’s truth, this is a firm foundation.

We may battle 🖤 dark, wintery emotions, but that battle is the Lord’s and as we stay holy-wholly aligned with Him first, from every moment into every choice, we can make the next right choice. We do have emotions, part of our human design, and we need to learn not to be subject to them. I admit, I am not totally there yet, but I like how the Word transforms me day, by day, I meet Jesus in the Word and the followship choice becomes clear. God will navigate us, this we know, so bloom in whatever season you find yourself in, because He is there with you. Glean from the experience of each life season, even if it is winter, you can grow through with joy and see the beauty of that season because God is with you. God bless ya.
