1. Twenty to Thirty commotio cordis events per year happened in the U.S. but mainly due to getting hit by a La Cross ball or baseball. Not mentioned here are the even rarer commotio cordis events in hockey within the U.S.

2. An average of 29 events per year happened in Europe prior to the introduction of the new technology COVID-19 vaccines/gene therapy treatments. After their introduction, that number has sky rocketed to 1,598 cases per year with 1,101 being fatal!
