Every time something new comes out about what happened I find myself getting more angry. The failed action, the lies that ensued…. It was an abject failure. One of my biggest gripes is that instead of having an honest conversation about what happened, fingers instantly began to point at guns and the story turned to legislation. After it came out the cops waited outside for over an hour. After their story began to fall apart and the lies were exposed. After the comments made by some on the scene about how they wouldn’t be waiting outside if their kids were the ones inside. After all of it, the narrative stayed the same. You want real change? It’s not taking away guns, it’s holding people responsible. Starting with Uvalde.
