Honesty As An Excuse

We've all met those people who use the thin veil of honesty as an excuse to be mean. What they're doing isn't constructive, it's not in the best interest of the other person, it's a tactic to kick someone and have an excuse for why you did. It's hard telling someone something that they may not want to hear, but need to. You have to be tactful. Sometimes that means waiting for a different time and place to tell them. Waiting for a better moment. We all want the truth. We don't want blatant unnecessary criticism.
