Prayer of Strength When Facing Persecution
Lord, my Father, You reign over all and You hear my cry. Enemies are coming with evil intent. If they get their way, harm will come to me. Father, shield me and be my protection. Rooted in Christ, I will look to You to be my defense. Even if I should suffer, help me to hold on to the promise of the victor’s crown You have waiting for me. In the name of Jesus, who guarantees escape from the second death, I pray this prayer of strength. Amen.
