This video will show you how to remove s-mode for those of you that want to download applications that are not approved by Microsoft. Keep in mind, you can not reverse this, once you decide to go forward, there is no turning back. But, I would have to guess if you reset the pc to factory, the pc would be placed back into s-mode, but, I am just guessing and will test this later.

What is S-Mode?
S-Mode is Microsoft's way to, once, force you to use there browser and maybe firefox as that is downloadable from the Microsoft store. But if you want Google, you have to say goodbye to S-mode. Also, if you need to run command from CMD, or use other administrative tools, many of them are blocked to prevent anything from tampering with the system. That is great for those of you that just get online to use facebook and do some banking. But not so good for those that need to install special programs
