The Large Hadron Collider at the CERN laboratory near Geneva, Switzerland is the largest and most powerful scientific instrument ever created. Now it's finally at full power and it promises to answer deep and enduring questions about how the universe works. But could it have another purpose? A doomsday weapon! Could this be true? If so, what can we do about it?
