Matt Gaetz On What Just Went Down, 3983

Good afternoon, I’m still reporting on the coup.

First of all, Beth and I have been sick for the last week. Don’t know whether it was the flu or COVID. It really doesn’t matter. No doctor visit, no prescription meds, just a bunch of natural immune system boosters. Yeah, we both lay in bed for a couple of days and I slept 12 hours last night – a new personal record – but hey, we developed our own antibodies the whatever this was, and that will make us better protected for whatever comes next in this new emerging biowarfare from China in the coming year.

Now, Matt Gaetz made his first TV appearance this morning on FOX News to explain what went on in the final hours before Kevin McCarthy was finally voted in as the new Speaker of the House.

Gaetz explained how the gang of 20 which held up McCarthy’s ascent to the Speakership for vote after vote, gradually wrenched one concession after another from the Speaker’s position, gradually democratizing power with every new vote.

This gives the slim Republican majority in the House of Representatives a real chance at exposing the coup, drastically diminishing the coup’s authoritarian ascent to power in the United States, and at least being able to put a dent into their ever-expanding methods of stealing elections going forwards.
