Come explore Roan Mountain, Tennessee with me, as I hike to Grassy Ridge Bald. The start of the hike is at Carver's Gap along the Appalachian Trail, and this hike follows the AT for awhile, before splitting off to a side trail. I chose Grassy Ridge Bald for my hike this today because I'm working on my South Beyond 6000 (SB6K) Challenge that the Carolina Mountain Club holds. I was planning on a pretty autumn hike with lots of fall foliage, but unfortunately I was a little late in the season/high in elevation for any fall leaves. Hope you enjoy this solo hiking vlog!
