Washington’s Elite Force, Daniel Morgan’s Riflemen & their weapon of choice the Kentucky Long Rifle

The Kentucky Long Rifle was the weapon used by Daniel Morgan and his 500 elite sharpshooters. Morgan’s men were known for dropping British officers from the treetops, as far as 300 yards away.

In this video you’ll hear about Morgan’s best sharpshooter, Timothy Murphy and how he killed British General Simon Fraser. Murphy was a marksman from Pennsylvanian, during his time in the revolutionary war, he was known to have killed multiple British officers.
