Sir Keir Starmer backs Sky's Westminster Accounts project

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has told Sky News there needs to be more transparency around how politicians earn money outside of their jobs as MPs.

His comments came in response to Westminster Accounts, a Sky News-Tortoise Media project which shows the flows of money into Westminster.

Since the last election MPs have earned more than £17m from second jobs with around two-thirds of the money going to just 20 politicians.
