Today, we have a quick one for y’all. We cover Kevin McCarthy’s 13 vote long battle for the Speaker of the House election, filled with spicy comments from both sides of the aisle and an almost physical fight on the House floor from Mike Rogers towards Matt Gaetz. It was a wild display of democracy. Well, maybe not the physical part, but the debate and discussion is how the process SHOULD happen. We also discuss Dan Crenshaw appearing with bloody knuckles towards the end of the voting and there being reports of him being a Kyle and punching holes in walls because of the frustration. With him calling the Conservative hold outs against McCarthy as “terrorists”, there isn’t much sympathy going his way from Conservatives. We also discuss the path forward for Conservatives in the House and their plan to investigate what the Democrats have been doing the past two years.
