Fresh ground beans are key to a good cup of coffee.  And from Afghanistan, to the high Sierra's this little coffee grinder performs.  The Hario MSS-1B (I don't know what that means) makes a great single serving of coffee (if you like it strong) and has a simple to adjust ceramic burr grinder.  And for travel, the grinding arm comes off, letting you easily stow it, possibly nesting it in another container / item.
