The Most Improved Player Award, it signifies ALOT in your NBA Career. How far you came as a player, the improvements you made to your game from the year before, and 9/10 at least in the current day NBA it signifies your certification into Stardom or as a top player in some capacity whether its on your own team, position, or the NBA. So far this year we are seeing people already making their case for that award right now with people like Keldon Johnson, Devin Vassell, Bol Bol, and most impressively Lauri Markkanen who has been on 3 different teams since being in the league and now being treated as the top guy on the Utah Jazz. So that’s got me thinking, why don’t we look back at the last 10 Most Improved Winners and seeing how they translated their Awards throughout the rest of their career to see how winning one translates into the future for the next candidates for this award this year.
