10.01.23 - Personnel have practised to repel mock enemy's airpower strikes in the Norwegian Sea amid difficult hydrometeorological environment.

🕹 The exercise involved tactical situation modelling facilities to simulate the neutralisation of air targets by on-board air defence weaponry and firepower.

◽️ The crew of air defence command post has practised to manoeuvre the ship. The personnel of detection posts, electronic and anti-aircraft crews have practised to transmit and receive target assignment data, and conditional employment of the on-board self-defence weapons.

🌊 The scale in the Norwegian Sea was 3-4, the wind speed reached 20 metres per second during the exercise.

The navigation of the detachment, formed by the frigate Admiral Gorshkov and medium-class sea tanker Kama, is guided by the North Fleet's missile ship division commander Captain 1st Rank Oleg Gladkiy.
